About the Libratory
What is a Libratory?
Libraries have been present since the 17th Century. They have evolved with society's needs. A Libratory is a 21st Century library. Instead of being a quiet place that stores books, a libratory is a community space that allows students, staff, and the community to meet, read, collaborate, work, and socialize. It is a place that houses books, student work and artwork, technology, learning opportunities, and resources.
Libratory Checkout and My Account
Students may check out 4 books for two weeks. They are able to renew their books at anytime. A student may go online to the My Libratory Account, log on, and then renew. If the student has not renewed and the book is overdue, they must come into the Libratory to renew. Jeffco's official policy regarding overdue books is:Students that have overdue books and fines may not check out until their account is reconciled. Please make sure you speak with Ms. Ertelt if you need to check out a book and make sure you return the book you owe.
